 Hello Beautiful Clients,
Our thought and prayers go out to those that were affected by the Covid-19 virus. We miss each of you, and we are excited to announce that we are finally open for business at Salon Serenity Spa. 

We understand your concerns, so we have outdone ourselves in preparing our business for you! We are making every effort possible to create a 100% safe environment for you and your family members. The safety of our staff and our customers is essential to us, so we have:

  • Cleaned and disinfected all surfaces and implements before and after each use.
  • Laundered and disinfected all capes, towels, and linens before and after each use.
  • Removed any non-essential items throughout our business 
  • Initiated contactless methods of scheduling and payment
  • Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment to be used when necessary or requested.  
  • Discontinued the practice of handshaking and other non-essential contacts.
  • Re-trained our staff on essential infection control and hand hygiene practices.

​The Contactless Experience at Salon Serenity Spa

Salon Serenity Spa now offers a contactless experience for the safety of our customers and employees.

  •  ONLINE BOOKING.  Schedule your appointment from the comfort of your home using your cell phone, tablet, or computer. You will then be able to visit Salon Serenity Spa on the date of your appointment while minimizing interactions with employees and other guests.


  • CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN.  In most cases, check-in is the first interaction you have when coming in for an appointment. It can also be a time when you come into contact with multiple people, from Front Desk staff to other clients waiting for their service. Minimizing interactions with just the service provider will be crucial to a great solution to keep both clients and employees safe while experiencing a more efficient, enjoyable, and relaxing process. Clients can complete documents and forms before their visit. Then when you arrive, check in through your phone, and you will be alerted via text or email when you are ready to be seen. This process enables you to wait in your car and avoid having multiple guests in the waiting area.

  •  Chairside Check Out.  The service providers will complete the checkout process right at their station with mobile devices or tablets. They can add retail products or gift cards to the final bill in addition to scheduling future appointments – all while reducing your exposure to other employees, guests, and the need to contact common surfaces and objects. Additionally, if you would like a receipt, you can provide a via email, eliminating another in-store touchpoint. But chairside checkout doesn’t just help clients; it also improves the safety of our employees. Service providers will use a tablet to conduct chairside checkouts and rebook appointments, preventing multiple employees from contacting the same surfaces or devices, such as a front desk computer.

Salon Serenity Spa is certified as a BARBICIDE® Certified Safe Service Establishment, indicating its pledge to proper infection control throughout the establishment every day, with every service. This establishment has accepted responsibility for safety practices and agrees to maintain weekly task lists.

Governor Cooper's Executive Order 215 lifts COVID-19 restrictions.  Effective immediately, salon employees and guests are not required to wear masks, social distance, or adhere to emergency maximum capacity limits.   Per Executive Order 215

Update May 20, 2020 5:00pm
In a press conference today Governor Cooper announced the plans for Phase 2 businesses to reopen. Phase 2 does include cosmetic art shops and schools. May 22, 2020, at 5:00 pm shops and schools can reopen with restrictions per Executive Order 141.

Update May 18, 2020

Reopening Update  - in Executive Order 138, Governor Cooper confirmed the beginning of the phased plan for reopening businesses in NC. The order states that cosmetic art shops are still closed through at least May 22, 2020. At today’s press conference the Governor indicated he should be able to make an announcement by mid-week regarding what’s going to happen Friday. We don’t yet know what that announcement may be, but we will continue to provide further updates as they are available.

Warmest greetings from Salon Serenity Spa!
We hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe.
As of Thursday, April 23rd, North Carolina's Governor Cooper extended the Stay-at-Home order through May 8th.

  • All appointments through May 8th have been canceled. We are closely monitoring any updates from the state, county, and city and will release information to our guests as we can. We are considered a part of the group Phase 2. Hopefully, we can reopen 2-3 weeks after Phase 1's date of May 8th. Which could be May 22nd or after for an opening date. If we can open sooner, we will notify you.

  • RESCHEDULING Due to the high volume of calls and rescheduling, we ask that you access our online booking portal located on our website for your June and July appointments. All of our talented specialists have open books. 

  • If you MISSED a scheduled appointment in March, April, or May, you will be contacted by phone as soon as we have an opening date from our Governor and State board.  We will reschedule appointments based on who was canceled from first to last.

  • We still offer phone support Monday-Friday at 919-562-1233 for your questions!

Guest can expect a call the week of reopening to get you rescheduled as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these difficult times. We will all get through this together and come out on the other side!
